Role Overview

The Junior Esthetician at Gild Beauty Bar is an entry-level position designed for individuals beginning their career in beauty and wellness who are committed to mastering their craft. This role is focused on foundational skill development, client experience, and learning the Gild standard of service.

This position requires humility, consistency, and a strong willingness to grow. The Junior Esthetician is expected to absorb training, refine technique, and actively work toward elevated performance.

Core Responsibilities

Client Experience & Service

• Deliver foundational services with precision and care

• Create a welcoming, calm, and attentive experience for every client

• Build confidence in client communication and consultation

• Maintain detailed and accurate client notes

Training & Skill Development

• Participate in all required Gild Beauty protocol training

• Learn and assist in advanced treatments including Hydrafacial

• Shadow senior team members to refine technique and flow

• Actively seek feedback and implement improvements

Booking Platform & System Management

• Learn and maintain proficiency in the booking platform

• Accurately manage appointments, timing, and client records

• Understand membership structures and client profiles

Operations & Daily Execution

• Maintain treatment room cleanliness and organization

• Support daily cleaning and operational duties

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols

Sales & KPI Accountability

• Begin developing confidence in retail and membership conversations

• Work toward individual KPIs in service, retail, and rebooking

• Participate in monthly and quarterly performance reviews

Community & Brand Engagement

• Assist in events, pop-ups, and workshops

• Represent Gild with professionalism and consistency

Service Expectation

• Signature & Express facials and foundational treatments

• Basic waxing and grooming services

• Lash and brow foundational services

• Support in advanced treatments as training progresses

• Base Pay
